With its genesis in late 2004, Promosome and TSRI have initiated their third consecutive 2 Year Research Funding and Option (RFO) Agreement specific to the neurobiology laboratories of Dr. Gerald Edelman and his colleague, Dr. Vincent Mauro. The RFO relationship provides Promosome with exclusive, sole worldwide license to inventions in the field of bioproduction and DNA Vaccines. The expertise and continued focus of this highly regarded research team is in the areas of Gene Regulation and Protein Expression through Translation Initiation and will continue to be leveraged for significant developments in this field.
During this formal relationship over last six years Drs. Edelman, Mauro, and colleagues have worked and culminated the development of several technologies that have been licensed to Promosome for commercial development and subsequent sublicense to appropriate biotherapeutic and bioindustrial companies by Promosome.
